The veteran pairing of director Jan Hřebejk and screenwriter Petr Jarchovský have a new film about inglorious pasts and their tendency to catch up with people when they least expect it.

The intimate story of Honeymoon takes place during an afternoon, a night, and the morning after at a family cottage, where an uninvited guest (Jiří Černý) disrupts the otherwise idyllic wedding celebration of Tereza (the luminous Anna Geislerová) and Radim (Stanislav Majer) with his mysterious presence and a disturbing gift.
